Hello!

We’re Amanda and Rich, and Kindness Opportunities started with our sons, Chance and Jack. Like so many families, we began asking ourselves what life would look like after school—and quickly realized how limited the options were. We wanted more for them: more connection, more purpose, and more opportunities to be part of their community. What started as something for our own families has grown into something we hope can support many others.

WHY IT MATTERS

We’ve seen how quickly opportunities can narrow after high school for individuals with disabilities. Without intentional support, days can become isolated and routines can feel disconnected from purpose. We believe everyone deserves to be seen, included, and valued—and that meaningful experiences shouldn’t be out of reach.

BUILDING FUTURES

We are continuing to grow opportunities that support both life skills and meaningful work experiences.

  • Expanding partnerships with local businesses

  • Developing hands-on seasonal projects like community gardens

  • Exploring future community-based business ideas such as a coffee shop model that provides inclusive employment opportunities

  • Supporting wellness and community participation activities like swimming, gym visits, and local events
