Become A Partner
We’re seeking community partners in the Champaign-Urbana area and surrounding communities who can offer meaningful, hands-on opportunities for our participants to volunteer and engage a few hours each week, including real-world job experience in supportive, inclusive settings.
Ideal opportunities would include:
Growing & Nurturing Crops
Maintaining small garden plots, especially for pumpkins and gourds.
Animal Care
Feeding, watering, and tending to farm animals in a safe, supportive environment.
Senior engagement
Visiting senior centers to play games, share music, and build friendships.
Food Support Initiatives
Sorting, packaging, or distributing food through local food banks.
Community Business Partnerships
We are also looking to build relationships with local businesses, including coffee shops, gyms, bookstores, and other community spaces, to create additional real-world, hands-on work experience opportunities that build skills, confidence, and inclusion.
We aim to create experiences that teach responsibility, compassion, and community involvement while strengthening pathways to meaningful work, belonging, and connection.
