Our Partners
Learn more about the amazing opportunities our partners and local businesses provide.
Joy of Illinois Farm
Small and local, Penny and Les provide raw goat milk, free-range eggs, and care for sheep, goats, hogs, chickens, ducks, geese, and rabbits. We visit once a week to assist Penny with daily animal care, primarily feeding, watering, and cleaning. We have also supported additional tasks such as weeding, harvesting, and painting.
R & L Farm
Small and local, Jerod and Ashley care for a variety of animals including poultry, horses, donkeys, and pigs, along with a range of small farm animals. We assist with daily animal care, including feeding, cleaning, and general upkeep. They also operate a traveling petting zoo, where we have supported events as well. Our involvement has included cleaning stalls, feeding animals, and assisting at the 2025 Down Syndrome Buddy Walk in Urbana.
Senior Centers
We plan to visit many, if not all, of the senior centers in our county. We will volunteer in activities such as bingo, social visits, arts and crafts, music, and any other programs they would like us to support. The senior center in Rantoul has been one of our partners so far.
Food Banks
We are working to secure volunteer opportunities with the Rantoul Food Bank, the Eastern Illinois Foodbank, and local food drives through Methodist churches. Packing and distributing essential supplies is a vital part of our vision for community support and togetherness.
